Budget Sessions of parliament, 2023
Introduction
The Budget Session of Parliament in 2023 commenced on January 31 and will continue till April 6 with 27 sittings spread over 66 days with the usual recess. The session will have a recess from February 14, 2023 to March 13, 2023. Union Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman presented the 2023 Union Budget in Loksabha at February 1 2023 like every year.
Currently, 35 Bills are pending in Parliament. In this session, 18 Bills are listed for introduction, consideration and passing (excluding the Finance Bill, 2023). These are listed below:
